Privacy information

Calculator entries

Calculator inputs and saved comparison scenarios and mortgage payment schedules are processed in your browser. The current calculator code does not send those entries to a Calcaven database or store them in browser local storage. Reloading a page clears its temporary inputs and comparisons. A downloaded debt schedule is created in your browser and saved to your device. Mortgage schedules are displayed in your browser.

Hosting and access information

The site is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. The hosting service may process connection and request information, such as an IP address, browser information, and requested URL, to deliver the site, manage access, provide security, and report traffic. If access is restricted, the platform may require sign-in. Calcaven’s browser-only calculation behavior does not mean that visiting the site creates no hosting records.

Fonts and external links

Pages currently request fonts from Google Fonts. Those requests expose connection information to that provider. External reference links take you to independently operated websites with their own privacy practices. See Google’s privacy policy and OpenAI’s privacy policy.

Analytics

Calcaven uses Google Analytics to measure visits and how people use the site. Its Google tag loads when you visit a page and can use cookies and similar identifiers, including the Google Analytics client identifier. Usage data may include page addresses, device and browser details, approximate location derived from network information, and interactions. We use these reports to understand traffic and improve the calculators. Calculator-use events record the calculator identifier and action: starting, obtaining a valid result, comparing scenarios, or downloading a schedule. They do not include entered amounts, debt names, saved scenarios, or calculated values. Initial example calculations do not count as calculator use. Advertising and consent

The Google AdSense script is present for publisher setup, but Calcaven currently serves no ads. If ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or other identifiers to show and measure advertising. This notice and applicable consent controls must be reviewed before ads are served, including for visitors in locations where consent is required. You can review Google advertising technologies and your Google ad settings.

Sensitive information

Enter only the numbers needed for a calculation. Do not put names, account details, medical records, or other identifiers into calculator fields. The site does not offer accounts, uploads, or a health-record service.

A public privacy contact address has not yet been configured. This notice will be updated when the contact channel or data practices change.
