How to use this calculator
Calculate a body measurement ratio without diagnosis. Enter waist circumference (cm), height (cm). The result updates when you change an input. To compare two sets of inputs, save scenario A, then enter the second set; the result panel shows the difference.
Formula and limits
Waist-to-height ratio = waist circumference ÷ height using the same units. Measurements alone do not diagnose health conditions; no risk classification is provided.
Worked example
The following example uses the calculator’s starting values. It is an illustration of the method, not a recommended target.
| Input | Example value |
|---|---|
| Waist circumference (cm) | 85 |
| Height (cm) | 175 |
Waist-to-height ratio: 0.486
Interpreting your result
These tools describe measurements; they do not diagnose conditions or prescribe a target. Measurement technique, age, pregnancy, body composition, and other context can affect interpretation. Discuss clinical questions with a qualified professional.
Comparing alternatives
Save the first result as scenario A, then change one input. The comparison shows the numeric difference; it does not label either result as better. Choose inputs that describe realistic alternatives. Values shown on screen are rounded, so calculations from rounded intermediate results may differ slightly.
