How to use this calculator
Track the percentage change between two measurements. Enter starting weight (kg), current weight (kg). The result updates when you change an input. To compare two sets of inputs, save scenario A, then enter the second set; the result panel shows the difference.
Formula and limits
Change = (current − starting) ÷ starting × 100. This describes a change only; it sets no target or healthy range.
Worked example
The following example uses the calculator’s starting values. It is an illustration of the method, not a recommended target.
| Input | Example value |
|---|---|
| Starting weight (kg) | 80 |
| Current weight (kg) | 78 |
Weight change: -2.5%
Difference: -2 kg
Interpreting your result
These tools describe measurements; they do not diagnose conditions or prescribe a target. Measurement technique, age, pregnancy, body composition, and other context can affect interpretation. Discuss clinical questions with a qualified professional.
Comparing alternatives
Save the first result as scenario A, then change one input. The comparison shows the numeric difference; it does not label either result as better. Choose inputs that describe realistic alternatives. Values shown on screen are rounded, so calculations from rounded intermediate results may differ slightly.
